Trick or Treat!
We had a great time at Halloween this year. Vanson looked forward to it all month and really understood what trick or treating was all about. Well..at least we thought he did until we arrived at the first house. After ringing the doorbell and shouting "trick or treat" our overly excited trick or treater marched right into the stranger's house demanding candy. He made it through the entry and was headed into the living room when I grabbed him and drug him out. He only made it through the threshold at the second house and by the third...he had it down pat. We were so lucky to be able to spend the evening with the Shrums. Batman (Micah) and Ninja Girl (Morgan) were great hosts and we had lots of fun munching on our delicious treats with them. Happy Halloween!

Ethan Update
Here's a few updated pics of my 4 week old! How can it be that 4 weeks have gone by? Ethan is an amazing baby. He's pretty much on a regular schedule. He eats, plays, and then sleeps in 3 hour shifts. We occasionaly go 4 hours or so at night but not that often. His umbilical cord finally fell off yesterday on his 4 week birthday. I was getting nervous and almost called the dr. about it. He rarely cries and is getting so much more alert. His awake times are getting longer and he's really starting to look at us and even track us as we move. He loves to be sung to and talked to and he's a great eater! Vanson has been a really great big brother. To be honest, I hardly see any change in him at all. He's still challenging in his own ways but nothing new. He's been a really great helper: grabbing my water bottle, the remote, or whatever it is I need that always seems to be just out of arm's reach. We are so blessed with these two little guys and I am madly in love with them both.

Meeting the Family
Here are some pictures from our busy week 2 with Baby Ethan. We had alot of visitors, including the Geremia Family. My mom was here of course, and Dad came down for the weekend, as well as Mark, Francesca, Emma, and Baby Juliana. We had a great time hanging out at the house and even going to a pumkin party at the Holcombs. The kids carved pumpkins (well...the parents did most of that - just ask Leo our very talented pumkin carver), danced to spooky music, decorated cupcakes, and then had a photo shoot in their costumes. Thanks for all the great visits and fun memories!
